Questions, answered

Before you enrol.

Who is this for?

Year 1 of Cambridge Primary, for children aged five and six.

What if my child is older but wants to start from Year 1?

That's fine. Year 1 is where the curriculum begins. New units open as the year goes on, so once your child catches up to what's released, they move forward with the class.

My English isn't strong. Can I still help my child?

Yes. The lesson is taught in English, but the parent notes come in different languages — what your child covered, and the words to use when you go over it together. You are never asked to teach in English.

Can my child use it without me sitting there?

Yes. It's intuitive enough for a five-year-old to work through alone. Sitting with them definitely helps, but you don't have to do the teaching.

Will this be too much on top of school?

About fifteen minutes a day, including a short activity you can do together.

What if we stop for a few weeks?

Nothing is missed. Your child picks up at the next lesson they haven't finished, and everything released while you were away is waiting.

Do you provide Year 2 to Year 6?

We currently enrol for Year 1 only. Years 2 to 6 will be released at a later date.

What do we need to start?

A browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. Nothing to install.
